Horse Gear

There is a saying that "the gaucho and his horse are one, the man on foot is half gaucho". The horse was the only thing that a gaucho owned, that made him a very precious belonging, a friend and companion. With more than 20 breeds and ranking among the 10 most important breeders in the world, Argentina is proud of its passion for horses. Horses are part of its culture and tradition.

Please keep in mind, special order items are made by hand and is sometimes a pains-taking process! Please be patient and give our artisian crafters the time needed to create your uniquely beautiful piece of argentina!

The nature of the rawhide and the braiding of the thin slices of leather (tientos) is a very specialised and specific art and craft that is passed down from generation to generation. Therefore, it is fair to conclude that reins made in this way ensure a long service life and give an aesthetic plus for the beauty of the work done by the craftsman in which art and tradition come together.
